“​Northern Star was created in honor of my best friend who was like a mother to me, Leisa, who I lost unexpectedly in 2015.  She mentored me both personally and professionally throughout many years.  She always believed in me and reminded me I could do anything.  Leisa was my biggest fan in all aspects of my life.  ​​No one can prepare you for the aftermath of losing the most important person in your life.  The days were dark and endlessly painful. I am so blessed to be able to have a business as a tribute to Leisa to continue her Legacy as I promised her I would do. ​Northern Star represents everything Leisa stood for.  She lived life through the joy of giving, loving fiercely, being passionate about people, being a positive, professional role model, and she lived each day grateful.  She was a spark of energy with a vibrant and unforgettable personality.  She made a positive and profound impact on so many lives. ​Northern Star was created with the foundation of making a positive and profound impact on the client and their guests.  It is also my daily reminder to keep going, to never give up, to dream bigger, love harder and to believe in all the good in the world.  Leisa would always say, “be true to yourself, be true to who you are, never change.” She was always lifting me up, promising me there was no star in the sky out of my reach and now she has become my Northern Star, illuminating brightly to guide me to a purposeful destination.​
